Navigating Fenestra Studio
A quick guide to the Fenestra Studio interface — top nav, sidebar, canvas, prompt bar, panels and toolbars.
A quick guide to the interface so you know where everything lives before you start creating.

Tool navigation bar
The top navigation bar is how you switch between the five tools — Image, Edit, Realtime, Enhance and Video. Your current tool is highlighted. Switching tools does not lose your work — everything is stored in your session.

Session sidebar
The left sidebar shows every session in your current project — every image you've uploaded or generated appears here as a thumbnail. Sessions are added automatically as you work.
- Click any thumbnail to load it onto the canvas
- Hover over a thumbnail to expand it and see its details
- Click + at the top to start a fresh canvas within the same project
Studio Canvas
The canvas is your main working area. This is where your uploads, generations and edits appear. You can pan around the canvas and zoom in and out using the fit view control in the bottom right.

Prompt bar
The prompt bar sits at the bottom of the canvas and is where you control your generations. It adapts to whichever tool you're in.
Image
Includes Scene Parameters — set Time of Day, Environment and Visual Type before generating. A quick way to guide the output without writing a detailed prompt.

Edit
Includes a Style picker — apply a Fenestra pre-built style or your own trained model to guide the visual output of your edit.

Realtime
Replaces the model selector with quality settings — Turbo, Balanced and Hi Def. Also includes style chips for quick one-tap style selection and a Blend toggle in the toolbar above.

Enhance
No prompt needed. Select your model, resolution, creativity and resemblance sliders and click Enhance.

Video
Includes Start Frame and Last Frame inputs for animating between two images, a duration control and a camera movement selector.

Edit toolbar
When working in Edit mode a toolbar appears above the prompt bar giving you access to precision editing tools — Expand, Edit Area, Replace Area and Camera Control.

For a full breakdown of what each tool does see Edit tools.
Details sidebar
The right sidebar is context-sensitive — it changes depending on what you're working on.
Generation details
When you select an output the right sidebar shows the full generation record: prompt, model, mode, aspect ratio, resolution, input images and date. Click the copy icon next to any prompt to reuse it.

3D controls
When working with a 3D model in Edit or Realtime the right sidebar switches to 3D Controls with the following options:

Camera
- Type — Perspective or Orthographic
- Camera Views — save and switch between saved views
- FOV — Telephoto to Wide, default 50°
Lighting
- Intensity — Dark to Bright, default 100%
- Time of Day — Sunrise to Sunset, default 12:00
Environment
- Intensity — None to Strong, default 100%
- Rotation — 0° to 360°, default 0°
For a full walkthrough of working with 3D models see Edit — working with 3D models.
Bottom toolbar
The bottom right toolbar is persistent across all tools.

- Compare → overlay a before and after slider once a generation is complete
- Download → export your current image
- Generations → open the generations panel to browse every output in this project
- Lock canvas → prevent accidental movement or edits
- Fit view → auto-fit the canvas to your screen. The percentage shows your current zoom level.
Assets
Click the generations icon in the bottom toolbar to open the assets panel. This shows every output you've made in the current project. Click any image to open it in full view where you can review the generation details, copy the prompt and send it directly to another tool.

Click any generation to expand it and view its details, copy the prompt or send it to another tool.
